The 'Dasheri' mango is a mango cultivar which originated in a village near Kakori in Lucknow district in 18th century. It is a sweet and fragrant variety of mango.
Dasheri mangoes, like other mango varieties are high in vitamin C and fiber. Mangoes naturally contain enzymes beneficial for digestion as well as many other valuable vitamins and minerals.
Mango is a good source of vitamin A, Vitamin C, vitamin B6 and smaller amounts of vitamin E, vitamin K, thiamin, riboflavin, folate, niacin, and pantothenic acid. Minerals in mango include copper, potassium, and magnesium.
